Damn good crowd. Doesn't seem much different to what they normally pull at Kogarah. Great for a Thursday. Bodes really well for this weekend IMO.

It's a fair result ..

But when u spend $1.2m on a player one would think u would get a full house week 1 .

Is hunt the highest paid player to ever swap teams in 110 years ..?

Is he even the highest that swapped this year?

Who's higher ?

Cronk
Moylan
Pearce
??

How much are the likes of Cronk actually getting paid? Also what fans go to see the highest paid player? They go to see the best and better players than Hunt switch clubs in the off season. Not sure it's that relevant to this thread anyway.

The dragons got a good crowd tonight and after that performance I think we can expect a few more.

Crowd was just shy of the local derby at kogorah last year I’m pretty sure. Anyway for a Thursday out of town team it was a great crowd, higher than all the realistic predictions.
I think it’s stupid to expect a full house at a ground that hasnt seen one in years, against a team from out of state on a Thursday night is pretty ignorant.

2 days before the game in Perth and they have just opened bays on the top tier for $20 general admission, right along the sideline and from what people have told me is a great view right on top of the field. Doesn't bother me as we are on the halfway on level 1 but jeez i'd be pissed if I was one of those people who gave up waiting for better seats and paid $50 to sit behind the posts.

Same as any concert. You try to maximise revenue by holding back the cheap seats. Good move might help push the crowd towards 40k.

I'm starting to think we might go past 40k now, the areas that were already opened would of held approx 40k so if they can get a late rush on cheap seats we could be around 45k.
Been a bit of exposure today, the teams have done press conferences and there was even a story on Today Tonight about the game in WA, the weekends games and the possibility of a team over here . A mate took his wife to the casino tonight for her birthday and ended up watching the Bunnies doing a public appearance for an hour, and he's an AFL fan.

Still feel for the poor buggers who have paid overs for tickets though.

Saints so desperate for crow numbers they’ve let the Skull back in.

Guess it wasn’t a life ban.

Or they lifted all the bans with the Twitter unblock spree.
What's the go with this bloke, making a comeback with the resurgence of white supremacists in the states? haha

Good crowd, especially for Thursday. Well done Dragons, hopefully this is a theme for the weekend.

? Don't like the logic! Sell the fans all available seats at reasonable prices and you will get a big attendance . Playing games with customers isn't my way of treating fans with respect or decency. Its a shambolic and tardy approach to marketing that's transpiring in the ticket sales world!
