Decent amount of fans have come for the women's game. Did tickets have to be purchased seperately for the women's game?

If it thickens out nicely I think we will get 46k.

Stadium members and corporates are very scary looking at the moment haha. Could just be avoiding sun.

Joe sure loves some incidental injury causing contact.

Wait, head contact? How is that a knock on?

In reality we had in the region of
10k sharks fans
14k roosters fans
12k Penrith fans

Turn up for finals, pretty shthouse but reflective of just how well supported these nrl clubs are in Sydney.

16k melbourne fans
40k Brisbane fans
Around 5k Sydney based warriors fans
1k Souths fans travelled or living in Melbourne

If the Sydney clubs had the storms 16k fans we’d have seen far more respectable attnedances at the Sydney games.

It is..... I don't even live there but when i go there it's pretty awesome to be in the CBD, Richmond around Ammi park precinct/Mcg when there is NRL and AFL on.

Then there is the soccer, tennis and Grand Prix etc. It's pretty impressive how they get behind sports.

Not just Melbourne, 59.5k at Optus stadium last night. In fact every city except Sydney nrl get behind their teams in decent numbers. We don’t have one club in Sydney getting close to the 30k plus these other cities main teams are getting. Seems Sydney, except swans fans who are probably from other cities largely, don’t really go in for sport in a big way.

Finals time no excuse to not attend, half empty stadiums for finals is embarrassing and shows lack of passion for nrl.

I believe it shows a lack of fans rather than lack of passion. If we accept that we can start to work harder to get more people interested in the game and following an nrl club, starting with a massive investment in schools exposure and then some decent marketing and strategies to engage new fans.

We have to stop relying on tv figures as our only argument ..

It's just not good enough ..simple

We need to build that Rock solid base for each club..

Sydney clubs have a 10-15k base of game going fans basically that's all

Grow this to 20k and you fix a lot of issues..

Selling a 3 game membership doesn't address this ..
