Give me that over sitting in the open on a hot as f**k day.
I went to the ashes the day Root ended up in hospital. It wasn’t plesent, although I could at least see the game, to be honest that just made it worse.

It’s neither.Too hot, too wet, not the right day, not the right time. Good to see the thread excuses are on form early lol.
Reality is either A) the nrl Isnt as popular as we think or B) nrl fans arent very committed to supporting their clubs.
Either way why people’s expectations are so unrealistic despite years of crowd stagnation, in fact deteriation , I dont really understand.
That manly crowd is sht which ever way you want to spin it.
How are we tracking in the first two rounds compared to recent years?
It’s neither.
The fact is Manly is a Intrust nsw size team not an Nrl team. In all seriousness how Big can Manly actually be?
If we could go finally get the overdue updates to Brookvale and didn't have to deal with the neverending smear campaign in the North quite a bit bigger. As it stands the ground continues to fall further into disrepair and Bears fans remain firmly stuck in the past.
I grew up in 40 degrees in the outback. Definitely preferable to 35 and humid in Cairns. I wonder what I would think of it now.It was 40 bloody degrees there which is dangerously hot for some people and most of Brookvale doesn’t look like it’s in the shade. Targeting today’s crowd at Brookvale doesn’t have credibility.

I applaud it like everyone should, call it as it is. It was too hot, pleeeeease!
For a top tier sport anything under 15k, dangerous weather excepted, should be called sht.

Yesterday's weather was dangerous.
It doesn't have to be a flood or a cyclone for it to be dangerous.
More than half the A-League season is played in far worse conditions.Yesterday's weather was dangerous.

I think most of those will be spot on, the Storm game should of been aiming for 20k+ but it is now hamstrung by the Thursday night timeslot and the fact that the AFL first game is on over the road at the same time. (Bit of forward planning and this could of been avoided)Another random stab in the dark. R3:
Storm v Cowboys - 15k
Bulldogs v Panthers - 13k
Tigers v Broncos - 14k
Raiders v Warriors - 10k
ANZ Double Header - 31k
Titans v Dragons - 9k
Roosters v Knights - 12k
