i think it's safe to say ab screwed up by trading away james connor for bell. he gave up weekly high rb1 points and has a player on his bench that he can't start and can't drop, effectively giving him a 4 player bench. that's tough to stomach for ab.

at least his trade was understandable. nobody thought bell would sit out the whole year. he took a punt and came up snake eyes.

the worst trade for me was rookie error, in the ultimate rookie error, trading away his first round pick kareem hunt after week 2 for chris thompson. that was shake of the head stuff. you can't give up on your young stud 1st round pick after 2 weeks. i guess he will learn from his error.

as for me, i still haven't made a good 1st round pick in this league. this year it was fournette. ugh. how do i miss with so many good players still on the board? i compounded the error by taking mccoy in the 3rd. double ugh. i tripled down on ajayi in the 5th. triple ugh. at least i got one good game out of him. fournette has given me one quarter in games a month apart, screwing me that week in the process. i can't drop him because of hope he can come back and help me down the stretch. now i'm rambling. i suck at redraft leagues.

Feeling good about this. Any time you can score the second lowest total and win, things are looking good.

Then this week I got some positive regression and my studs exploded. This is all without any meaningful QB scores. It's the one thing that could sink me, but we'll see what happens in the playoffs.

We're back in it mate...for now. I think I missed the playoffs with 6 losses last season so I think we need to win out to be any shot.
