2018 High Rollers Fantasy League

Could do two 5 team divisions, play division rivals twice, other division once, top 2 from each. That would mean playoffs weeks 14-15. Or could do a double header for the money matches, play 2 matches over weeks 15 and 16 with aggregate winning?

Ok guys I think enough time has passed, looks like this will be a 10 team league.

Details as follows:
- $50 buy in, prizes as follows:
1st place = $250
2nd place = $100
3rd place = $50
Top scorer in regular season = $100

- 15 total rosters spots (10 starters and 5 bench). Starting line up is:
1 x QB
2 x RB
2 x WR
2 x TE
1 x SUPERFLEX (QB/RB/WR/TE)
1 x FLEX (RB/WR/TE)
1 x DST

- League set up will be two 5 team divisions, play division rivals twice, other division once, top 2 from each make the playoffs. Semi finals will be week 14, the final will be a double header over weeks 15 and 16 with aggregate score winning.

- Live draft will be held at 9pm on Tuesday 4th September, it will be a 15 round draft with 1min time limit per pick

Please let me know if you disagree with any of the above, if we get a majority vote happy to make changes. I'll give it until Monday 27th August for feedback, I'll then set it all up on the site and randomise divisions and draft order.

I’d prefer to take out one TE if we are going to have a super flex spot or vice versa, take out super flex and have 2 TE’s.

Yes fair point so I'll put it out to others, do we want:
a) Both a super flex and second TE spot (10 starters and 5 bench)
b) A super flex but no second TE spot (9 starters and 5 bench)
c) A normal flex and a second TE spot (10 starters and 5 bench)

I vote for B but happy to go with the majority

Only other suggestion I'd make is to remove the bonus points for long TDs, total yards and total receptions etc. An 80 yard TD reception is already a big 15 point play, it doesn't need a 4 point bonus to go with it. Makes projections easier for us geeks too

Only other suggestion I'd make is to remove the bonus points for long TDs, total yards and total receptions etc. An 80 yard TD reception is already a big 15 point play, it doesn't need a 4 point bonus to go with it. Makes projections easier for us geeks too

I quite like the 1min time limit, it's a bit frantic but adds to the draft day drama. Thoughts from others?

i feel like there's not enough rbs and wrs starting. it's a 10 team league. i feel like there should be 2 flex spots. get rid of one te and replace it with a flex spot. i wouldn't mind if there was even 3 flex spots.

What will be interesting is that generally the super flex is a QB, however given that this is a 10 team league you will have some decent quality RB/WR depth where you may consider playing one in your superflex rather than going high on a second QB.

I think you have to keep a TE spot for general strategy, are you suggesting adding one more starting spot as a flex?

having a superflex basically means a 2 qb league. so yes, 1 x te, 1 x superflex, 2 x flex. or even 3 x flex. can't be starting all studs. i don't mind d/sts, they make things interesting.

Yep, with a 10 team league and smaller benches, there's definitely room for another flex position on top of superflex.
