The player numbers on the sharks are extremely clear on television...iim sure the commentators are loving it. In previous years they have had white numbers on black and this year they have black numbers on white. But I think the white is too wide on the back and it looks silly. I would have brought the black in from the sides like this.

So I've had it confirmed Newcastle will wear the mining strip again this season.

It'll be worn at two games - one home, one away.

The home game will be on the Queen's Bday long weekend against the Roosters.

The away game? Well I'll let you lot guess, it should be too hard.

That jersey/ shorts combo had 'Surrender' written all over it- and they got rolled 68-6 by the Sharks if I recall...

The same NRL that won't allow the Bulldogs and Dragons to wear their traditional jerseys against one another because of a 'clash'

The same NRL who saw no big deal with the Souths v Penrith white trim/ white shorts match up on the weekend...

I think a sublimated Knights logo on the lower torso is a classy and not stupid look. Even better if its covered in sponsor logos. I'm sure Tigers fans would agree.
