its weird seeing players train in the Main jersey...

I dont like it, takes away from the prestige. This is where they should be using the crazy bumper designs.

It would be heavy as well, not very fun to do preseason in

Even the AFL is now jumping on the ‘give the premiers their own premiers logo’ just like the Preimer league does. How long till we see this in the NRL? Maybe a gold NRL logo?

The AFL have had a gold logo for the premiers for nearly 10 years. I think Geelong were the first team to have it after winning in 2007.

Yeah it's been going on a good while.

While I like the idea, I don't like the execution. It looks more faded then anything else.

Personally, I'd like to see the Premiers wear a small Provan Summons trophy on their sleeve similar to what they do in the Rugby Union World Cup.

Obviously, you wouldn't have the years underneath but just a small trophy similar to that would be a nice touch.

That's not a bad idea but what happens with teams like Souths? Would we have to have 21 gold tabs on the collar? Half the collar would end up being gold and that'd look terrible.

It's only one tab to symbolise having previously won a title. So basically every club bar Gold Coast would have one.

Just for the specific year they are premiers?
If that’s the case just have a gold NRL badge rather than putting even more clutter on the shirt, it works well for the EPL and fans rush out to buy that years shirt.

I would've purchased a new Souths jersey in 2015 had there been a gold badge.
