Apparently itll be:
1. Ponga
2. Chambers
3. Morgan
4. Inglis
5. V-Holmes
6. Munster
7. Milford

And It's pathetic. Cant see it competing let alone winning....

If Qld start Milford at halfback then it means my prayers to The Flying Spaghetti Monster have been answered.

So how the f**k can NSW be such raging favorites. QLD might be missing zome greats. But the players missing are irrelevant. The teams picked are.

NSW have 11 rookies.

QLD spine:
Morgan has played Origin before. In various positions winning the series. Won a grand final.
Munster has also played and won both an Origin series and a grand final.
Hunt has played Origin and been in a losing grand final side...
McCullough has played and lost a grand final

NSW spine:
Tedesco has played Origin (in a losing side) and never even played finals footy.
Maloney is our only experienced player having played in a few losing series and in 3 grand finals
Cleary has zero grand final or Origin experience
Cook the same.

Queensland think who's missing makes it impossible to win. But whos available are still far more established than the NSW side.

That's before considering the rookie blues wingers and centres up sgainst established Origin players in the Queensland team.

Those areas are where the points are scored snd Queensland have a landslide victory as far as experience and combinations go. NSW picked on form... but club form has proven irrelevant in Otigin many times before. We could have picked 11 future greats... or up to 11 players looked back on as the biggest failed experiment in Origin history.

I know the money dictates the odds. But god damn. Prople need to look beyond who's missing and look at who's playing.

This Queensland team is still pretty handy.

If NSW lose it falls onto the captain.

Boyd Fraudner and his 20% win rate.

7 posts above this you ran through a variety of reasons why QLD have a real shot at winning including the fact we have 11 debutants and the relative experience of the spine etc. and you even managed to not mention Boyd Cordner in a post.

Then you come up with the above

Tell me, will it fall on him if they win?
