The game is trying to clean itself up, stamp out the fighting and prior to one of the biggest draw cards in the year for people who don't routinely follow RL, they highlight, celebrate, a massive fight.

I don't mind the biff personally, but if league is trying to bring itself out of that era, attract young kids to the game, that sent the wrong message.
