Can't believe everyone is picking us and we are TAB favourites.

Yes, Lino surprised everyone by getting us over the line against the Roosters and Dragons, but he's still the bloke (and we are still the team) who lost 10 or 12 or whatever it was in a row without Johnson. Our last outing with Lino we got 50 put on us.

On balance there's more evidence to suggest we can't win without Johnson than that we can. Hope I'm wrong.

btw this shouldn't be read as a bagging of Lino but more an acknowledgement that we are a totally different proposition without Johnson. The jury is still very much out on that.

Have you seen the rorters in the past few weeks? The only way for you guys to lose this would be if you beat yourselves.

They've certainly played below expectations but are still 6th on the table. In this comp they'll only have to half find form to finish top 4. It's gotta be more likely they improve than get worse.

That's 'May Premiers' talk right there!

We have been abysmal. Junk. Pitiful. And yet we're 5-4. 6th on the ladder.

So I'd say we're operating at about 30% capacity. In a fairly weak competition depth wise it'll be interesting to see where we land if we can click into full gear in the final third of the season.

The Roosters have been playing like a bunch of old shielas, that is why.

It's the easiest draw I've seen in all my days.

I really can’t get a fix on where we are at. I take heart from the fact that we are abysmal yet could be 2 points shy of 2nd if we win. On the other hand our 5 wins were against manly, knights, dogs twice and sharks. Our defence is also solid.

We were the April premiers. We’re improving.

Unlike the roosters.

3 straight April-May Premierships. Congrats :D

Let's see how you're going when it matters and if injuries hit (of which you've had none so far which is very handy).

If Cummins is the ref for our third straight home game then its a lottery as to who will benefit penalty/sinbin wise.

Really strongly dislike that guy.
You need not worry who the ref is.

Of our 55 matches played away from home out of Sydney since 2007, we've won 6 penalty counts and lost 45 lol

So I think we can safely say based on statistical history who the refs will favour :D

Tommy blaming the refs already.
What a change.
Perhaps if your over rated coach didn't tell your braindead players to play right to the edge of legality you wouldn't get penalised as much.

Yes, that's what it is.

Multiple overrated coaches and dozens of braindead players across 10 years.

What a coincidence!

Maybe Uncle Nick needs to direct his brown paper bags to the refs instead.

But then what would you have to whinge about.

Warriors by 22-18. Just not quite sold on Easts in beating the better sides just yet. They do need time to improve, and it will come.

As proven last year, the issue isn't penalties conceded, in which we are middle of the road, it is penalties received in which we are far below the next worst over a 10 year period. I suppose that is the coaches fault?

No of course not. The refs have been instructed not to give you penalties.

It's a whole big conspiracy devised by the CIA, the stonecutters and the Russians
