How did this thread become about May premierships?

Warriors at home should get it done but I wouldn't be surprised if the Roosters plucked a win.

3 straight April-May Premierships. Congrats :D

Let's see how you're going when it matters and if injuries hit (of which you've had none so far which is very handy).
Where do I get my April premiers T-shirt? It's still way too early to worry about when things matter. All I know is I'm happy my team won against the Broncos, Sharks, Rabbitohs, Roosters and basking in the afterglow of winning against the Storm. Even if things go bad this season, those wins can't be taken away.
Careful, they don't like being reminded of this.
Origin is coming so you may get your wish. In the meantime.....

We know all too well how just 1 or 2 injuries can derail a fantastic season after JWH and Pearce went down in rnd 24 2015. We'd won about 12 in a row and looked a class above then BANG. Season over in 5 minutes.

This is such a close comp that the Dragons need their 6 7 and 9 fit and firing come finals to win it. Just like we do and all the other contenders. I've already put a line through Penrith due to losing Edwards. Brutal blow.

Oppositely when you've fielded basically the same 17 for the first 9 weeks you sure as hell can gather some mighty momentum.

Both the roosters and Dragons lost to a team with Mason Lino in the number 7.

Neither of you have anything to crow (mind the pun) about.

The way my team are playing I just can't tip them. Scramble defence is good, but the continual dropped ball gives the opposition so much possession they wind up making heaps of metres on us which they often turn into points. Until our ball handling improves, we stop making so many ineffectual tackles, and the attack starts to look up to first grade standard I can't look past the Warriors for this match. :(

You'd have to be some cretin to wish a heavy injury toll on any team, or serious injury on any player. It's just a statistical certainty that they will happen sooner or later. I'm just jealous that we have to scrape together a team from reserve grade every week while others don't even have to pick their side, it remains the same every week. Still, that which does not kill you, makes you stronger.

To be fair I don't think any roosters fan is crowing about anything at the moment. The only positive is that we are 6th whilst playing at about 30% of our potential

we've had the same 17 for about 3 years save for replacing Clay f**king Priest with Charlie Gubb. We've got about as much momentum as a dead snail

You'd be surprised. I'm a cretin when it comes to Cameron Smith or Billy Slater. The injury thing sucks I know, but look at where your team is on the ladder with your scrapings and with star players returning from injury. Also, it can unearth the next gun player.

Can’t see Rosters getting close the way they are playing but fk they need to win a big game sooner or later

Weather Bomb expected to hit Mt Smart right on Kick off...heavy rain.

The team with the better ball handling wins.

We won last time around without Johnson. It's hard to see us winning without Johnson and Luke. Luke's been playing bloody great football lately.

Lino is an extremely handy back up to have, he has been sensational when he's had to fill in this year

I think he relies on the element of surprise, really. He's not as good when a team knows they'll be playing him that week.

Bloody strong Roosters side on paper. They're bound to click sooner or later.
