Woods is certainly not known for the sort of grit the Tigers just showed. Maybe Cleary could get that into his game though.

But maybe Cleary was worried he couldn't, or Woods didn't want to do the work, so that is why he is gone. Either way, Cleary is showing (again, as he did in his previous posts) that he believes in a team first policy, and only wants those who are all on board. And it gets results.

I'm not one for bagging the refs but at what point do they need to give an explanation for any of their more dubious performances. They did everything in their power tonight to hand the game to Melbourne, totally one-sided and totally disgraceful.

Always had a soft spot for the tigers so don't mind losing to them. It's great seeing a lot of the teams who have struggled in recent years turn things around.

As for us I think we have a lot of work to do this year if we're going to be competitive come the business end of the season.

Totally unfair! They could have sinbinned 3 Tigers and given another 10 penalties.
