As a I said go look at the yearly stats. We're never anywhere near the top team. Its especially hypocritical coming from fans of a team who get far more penalties than we do.

When the storm win the penalty count everyone on here bangs on about the comp being rigged. When we lose the penalty count it's karma or just not mentioned.

That was Brisbane last week.. except we were by far on the wrong end of the count and not a thing was said

The darlings of the NRL must not be allowed to have 2 consecutive losses at home or the crowd will dwindle

Genuine question.

If you illegally take out a player who is offside, who should the penalty go to?

First offender penalised (so Cowboys should get that)?

More serious offense penalised? Is taking someone off the ball more serious than offside? I think that "major" offense trumping minor offenses only applies to bad head high tackles, spear tackles, gouges etc (would have included trips back when the NRL cared about those...). Is that a justification for the Storm penalty?

I know in reality the referee just missed that Addo-Carr was offside, just wondering how it should have gone in an unusual situation (simultaneous offenses from opposing teams).

Cowboys making too many crucial errors, Storm not matching them in that area, like they did last week. Cowboys look promising on a few plays, but can't win this if their discipline doesn't improve.

He has not yet qualified for an offside penalty

Yes we are definitely the lesser team.
Which is silly because it's all mental.

Good on you Joey. 'Stop blowing so many penalties'

It's not the refs fault neither team is staying onside.

I hate this "grand final rematch" continuously being shoved down our throats.. we get it, they both played in the grand final, neither team is playing anywhere near the level they were when they got there and this match isn't anywhere near as significant, I wish they'd stop going on about it

I'm as keen to lay the boot in to the Storm as the rest of the "neutrals" on here, but the Cowboys complaining about penalty counts is a laugh. Last year they were so favoured by the officials it was outrageous. You lot were just middle (lower middle) of the pack in penalty differentials.
