There are only a few moments in your life that leave a lasting memory. You know the ones, people ask you where you were when you heard, or when it happened. Princess Diana is one, world trade centre another.

Tonight, we have just witnessed another of these moments!

Years from now I will be telling my grand kids, there I was, sitting on the couch watching a game of footy. Now I'll tell em what a great man Smith the previously unbinnable was, he knew as we all did, that this was a moment to be forever etched in the memories of all who witnessed it, nay all who even heard about it's happening, that he walked to the sideline and before crossing the line, stopped, I can only assume to ensure as many viewers as possible could see the moment. He knew, thousands out there were texting mates, emailing, skyping, simply yelling out the window so random neighbours could hear the news and tune in! Witness the exact moment of transformation from his previous life, to being cast down forever to henceforth be a player tainted, a sinner!

Perhaps this was simply Cameron baulking at the threshold, the realisation dawning that his sin bin virginity had been stolen from him. Regret setting in about how casually he had let it be taken from him, in the end, he had waited long enough, it was time!
