There are only a few moments in your life that leave a lasting memory. You know the ones, people ask you where you were when you heard, or when it happened. Princess Diana is one, world trade centre another.

Tonight, we have just witnessed another of these moments!

Years from now I will be telling my grand kids, there I was, sitting on the couch watching a game of footy. Unprepared I was for what I was about to witness, suddenly out of nowhere, I heard it, the unmistakable sound of the refs whistle, now this was no unusual sound I will tell em, for the game at that time was a penalty ridden mess, but with respectful awe I'll tell em what happened next had me reaching for the rewind button in shock. The referee, lifts both arms up both palms out fingers extended. Head turned looking at Cameron Smith, AKA Smith the unbinnable, was sin binned for 10 whole minutes.

Now I'll tell em what a great man Smith the previously unbinnable was, he knew as we all did, that this was a moment to be forever etched in the memories of all who witnessed it, nay all who even heard about it's happening, that he walked to the sideline and before crossing the line, stopped, I can only assume to ensure as many viewers as possible could see the moment. He knew, thousands out there were texting mates, emailing, skyping, simply yelling out the window so random neighbours could hear the news and tune in! Witness the exact moment of transformation from his previous life, to being cast down forever to henceforth be a player tainted, a sinner!

Perhaps this was simply Cameron baulking at the threshold, the realisation dawning that his sin bin virginity had been stolen from him. Regret setting in about how casually he had let it be taken from him, in the end, he had waited long enough, it was time!
And they’ll say “shut the f**k up Pa, you’re dribbling again!”

We still don't look up to scratch. Not feeling confident this year but we'll see how things progress. It's a long season.

Pretty interesting start to the year, it's really hard to tell who's going to be contending this year. Seems a bit all over the place.

I was at the tunnel when he walked for his time out. I thoroughly enjoyed explaining to him how he can go in and out of himself in the most technical way possible.
I'll cherish the moment

You get 10 in the bin for a punch still, yeah? If so Gallen should have knocked the snot out of Chambers with 8 seconds on the clock and copped his marching orders. I'd even be happy if he served the remainder next week and start with 12 men for the first 9:52.

You can tell how much Melbourne still hate us. Even though they won last year it still doesn't seem to be enough to atone for 2016.

It's great.

The NRL in conjunction with channel 9, are releasing a limited edition lithograph to commemorate this very important moment in the careers or both Cameron Smith and Mat Cecchin.

I believe the numbers are limited to 600 in honour of each of the seconds Cameron was banished from the field.

Just by chance I have obtained a sneak preview of the print. Pre-orders are understood to be setting records, especially for the shire area of Sydney.
