NZ a bit unlucky not to win the Women's match, but both Aussie v Kiwi clashes, men and women, look like they will be fiercely contested for a while to come, which is great for the game.

NZ men were comfortably better most of the game, until the last 10 minutes, hope they can build on this and international league can be very competitive for years, especially if Tonga and England also lift.

That's a stretch. Put Maloney and Ramjet chin in the team and actually have cook play hooker Instead of McGuire and it's a totally different ball game. Kiwis almost blew it tonight as Jonson has no idea on how to close out a match.
