Rather than an international match being played under international rules it will now be played with 2 referees, despite both clubs agreeing to 1 ref months ago.

I doubt they care enough about the trophy, more likely trying to stifle debate about 1 referee vs 2.

They did the same to Wigan when they came over to play roosters. Didn't affect Wigan too much, but just annoyed them how they were told at last minute about the two refs

Melbourne are amongst the most penalised sides so two refs would be better for Leeds.
