TBF, the charge down was an all or nothing play when down by 6 with around 80 seconds to go.
Hard to pin a loss on that play.

Great game. I think both teams had more composure than many of the nrl games, kept their heads less silly rush moments and lot less niggle in the ruck. Only thing missing was some of the short kicking game let them down imo.. well done to all players, enjoyed it.

Does anyone think that this should be the curtain raiser to the men’s game? Be great for the girls to experience a massive crowd

It should be a 3 game series and each game played before the mens. The quality is good enough. Even though it was a small crowd, it was good that the game was the only one for the first official SoO match, so the girls were the focus and it shows the interest in the sport.

Fantastic game. We really need to push the women's game more. Push a 3 game SOO right alongside the men's. Hopefully the women's club comp is decent this year and acts as a springboard to bigger and better things.
