The crowd was pretty sad
In saying that ( I was there) the people who did show up were pretty vocal.
Rain didn’t help.
It was solid most of the day.
Even though it nearly held off all game.
Came down again right at the end.

Both have around twice the population of Townsville and Townsville relies heavily on people travelling large distances to attend games.

People stop going to NRL games when their team is not winning because it is all about winning. The game stopped caring much about how entertaining it was as a sport a long time ago (when Bellamy took over the game).

All out injured and playing the storm in the rain.
Nobody knew Dugan was going to play.

Any club facing that would have a smaller crowd.
Not to mention storm bring virtually zero people to the game.
I was fully expecting to watch the sharks get destroyed.
