The thing is, if someone watches both games, why shouldn't they be counted twice?

When I attend multiple games in a normal round I am included in both crowds!

But what if people leave earlier and don't watch every game? Unless someone there can confirm they are scanning people out as they leave, the later game's totals wont be correct, as they are building on the earlier games but not taking into account people leaving without watching every game

It probably didn't happen much tonight with the Broncos being the later game, but with 3 games on tomorrow its likely it will

I have no idea how the magic round ticketing worked. But do you buy tickets to each game separately like with a regular round?

If so, the crowd can be counted separately for each game as it is a new ticket for each.

It will be reported as it should be, the tigers game attracted XXXX fans, the broncs attracted XXXX etc.

I could be wrong but Im pretty sure it was sold as day passes

Plus normal round crowds aren't counted by how many tickets are sold but by how many actually turn up

Didn’t look anywhere near that at kickoff

I’m presuming that by the 70th minute of the panthers tigers game there were 35k in and then by gates closing post half time of the broncos manly game there were 41k in.

It is listed as 35,122 for the Tigers v Panthers, and 41,388 for Broncos v Sea Eagles on NRL.COM in the results section. They are separate crowds. That is how they will be counted towards the average.

Hmm I'm backing that last night would have gotten more as separate fixtures.

15k at WSS (even at 6PM friday) and 30k for a manly home game at Suncorp.

Today's games would get IMO about the capacity of Suncorp. 10-15k for dogs depending on location, 15k for warriors and 20k plus for storm.

Tomorrow you are probably looking at 10k for each game so Suncorp should do better there.

Not the crowd that walks in with 10 mins to go who are there to see the next game.

Simple way to solve this is too simply ask how many people paid for tickets and were in attendance at the game.

Why? I got there late. Traffic held me up! I got lost and arrived late etc etc. if you paid to go and went that should be enough.
