And of course you are here to shit on the game

Nah, 16k is ok for a Thursday night, will be one of the biggest Thursday nights this season. Had hoped it would crack 20k but that was my optimism.
The game has made its bed with locking in two sht ko times for 5 years. No point being disappointed every time they produce under whelming crowds.

Decent crowd I thought, shame it wasn’t Friday given the amount of people here for the F1.

Areas behind the posts have far better noise containers for atmosphere. The sound quality from the speakers is pretty bad though IMO.

The 3 or 4 bays directly in the middle are premium reserved and is the same price as the western stand and concourse. $125 family. I couldn’t get any seats there. All of the other bays are reserved seating and is $100 family... had to get family even though it’s only one adult and 2 kids, it’s still cheaper than buying seperate adult and kids tickets! I thought I’d spend the extra $30 (general admission is $70 a family) and get a seat and not worry about Finding a piece of grass with my kids (which is tricky enough as my eldest is on the spectrum). I am in the bay in the north east corner. Pretty crappy seats, but at least it is at Leichhardt. One confusing thing is that all family seating at Campbelltown is $20 cheaper![/QUOTE]

Rain might hold off in Newcastle. Presales looking strong
Forecast according to weatherzone now saying it won’t rain till after the game at the very earliest

Conversely it predicts rain in Sydney which is a shame. Was hoping for 25-30k at the SCG

Looks like it’s due for 8, looking forward to going to the scg. Despite its viewing drawbacks I do enjoy going to it.

That Melbourne ground is impressive isn’t it, the storm have a good loyal fan base now, clubs in a storm position with a strong sporting brand.

Hopefully that rugby league heartland Newcastle show up tonight

Fox sports are suggesting, there will be close to 30k in Newy.
No chance, tickets haven't sold too well into the upper tier corners and ends of the Andrew Johns stand.

Will give it a little while due to the 6pm kick off, but there is maybe 18,000 there at the moment?

Well over 20k, surely.
