f**k off muppet. Every other team has the right to a home final, why not Canberra?

Since when? If such a right does exist, they should find the source of the right and eliminate it. Or tweek it a bit and allow home grand finals as well to the team that has earnt the right.

28k at GIO is still going to look a whole lot better than 40k at ANZ does

It’s a bit rich suggesting 40K+ will be there anyway. Souths v roosters just drew 30K and Souths v Manly just drew 32K. How is a raiders v Souths match going to suddenly pull 40K+ (45 if you listen to T-boon).

Also that’s against a Sydney club. What happens next year when the storm are on the raiders side of the bracket. Then they either back track on this stupid decision or play he game in Sydney and struggle to get 15K fans.

How anyone can still suggest it’s a good idea is mind boggling.

Why would Canberra get a home game in this set of circumstances but not Manly. Weird.

Because one of the those teams is from f**king Sydney. I feel like i shouldn’t have to explain that. If you’re going to make Canberra play in Sydney than why shouldn’t every team play in Sydney like they used to?

Also I’m not the biggest fan of GIO but comparing it to Brookvale is nonsense.

Well should Canberra be forced to play in Sydney for the GF?
Get a bigger stadium Canberra or too bad.

Actually I have changed my mind. I am pro semi in Canberra.
But it should in future be sold to them.
Actually I am pro a 3 game semi final series anyway, because that would be best for crowds and would lead to better NRL tourist and thus stadiums. 1 each home and away decider to highest bidder (or most worthy). 3 game semi's and 3 game GF. Much shorter regular season.

I oscillate wildly between whether you’re a troll or whether you’re under the influence of some heavy hallucinogens while posting.

How good would the crowds be if we had 3 game grand final and 3 game semi finals. The TV ratings and crowds would be through the roof.

26,000 in a Canberra full house.

Or

35,000 at ANZ with 50,000 empty seats.

Some f**king people.
There wouldn't be 35k at ANZ either. That previous meeting was our first home semi final in 23 years! Lots of apathy from supporters since then too.

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt with an upper end estimate.

Let’s just play grand finals back to back until one teams players die of exhaustion.

What is this about?
The teams who make it through to the GF have played 3 games at high intensity already. A bunch of hard games back to back over 4-6 weeks is nothing new.
Just admit my idea would bring in massive crowds and ratings and there is no negatives to it. Admit it.
