Union canceled their NZ game at the last minute “in respect”. I thought League might do the same but I think their approach: free entry, minute silence, anthem, blackarm bands was a better response. However the haters of league will noisily disagree

The main difference was the cancelled union game featured The Crusaders from Christchurch so it was probably done as much to allow them to deal with the situation as anything else. As mentioned already the other NZ derby went ahead last night.
