Still worth mentioning. Especially for promoting deals and games! ?
Social media is a much stronger platform for that form of advertising as it is about getting a spur of the moment sale. A person can click a link and purchase their tickets straight away, that is not possible with TV and print advertising. TV and print advertising is much better for creating overall game awareness so when they see the social ads they are more likely to click. Its about having a strategy to your advertising.

Lastly most adverts for specific games are done by the clubs and simply do not have the $ to be spending their money on tv ads!

Everything you’ve written makes perfect sense. You might as well be talking to a brick wall though mate.

Save your breath on this knob jockey, they say arguing with a fool makes two of them, so leave this one alone ;)

It's more than just tv advertising. Its billboards, newspapers, radio . All of these help get information across. Especially to those not in the know.

These all get done? I also never said just TV?

Was not stating that. My comments were aimed at giving other forms of media a worthwhile mention. That's it. Nothing else. Social media has its place like the others. That's it. Nothing else sinister going on. Relax!

Effective mention on Nine news this evening with Reggie Rabbit offering one paying adult entry will also get 4 kids in for free on Friday. That's encouraging marketing.
