Social media is a much stronger platform for that form of advertising as it is about getting a spur of the moment sale. A person can click a link and purchase their tickets straight away, that is not possible with TV and print advertising. TV and print advertising is much better for creating overall game awareness so when they see the social ads they are more likely to click. Its about having a strategy to your advertising.Still worth mentioning. Especially for promoting deals and games! ?
Lastly most adverts for specific games are done by the clubs and simply do not have the $ to be spending their money on tv ads!
