NRL will just give the Knights more 6pm games next year to get the average up for that timeslot.

Not a bad idea. It's a lot easier to get to a footy game at 6pm in Newy than Sydney.

Crowd at Suncorp is going to be shithouse.

Can get 10 & 20 tickets anywhere.

They have reduced some maroon and blue cat seats to white prices $40 adult and $17 junior to fill the lower bowl. Not good enough given the form.

Wonder what they would have got if they played it at Belmore ? Still the same problem of getting to the game at 6pm on a Friday but 6,711 would have looked better at Belmore, maybe they wouldn't have even got 5,000 there but maybe they would have got a few more than the 6,711 too, any way as everyone knows ANZ not suited for many club games at all especially the dreaded Thursday Night or 6pm Friday Nighttime slot.

Regardless of where it was held--- under 7k is a mediocre crowd for professional sport.

In the future these less attractive games should form a double header at bankwest with an unattractive game at 6pm and a decent fixture at 8pm. And get into both games for one price, might at least fill up a bit in the second half and some will stay on for second game making that crowd look better.

Just looked at the crowd at BankWest for the Waratahs. Would say there’s no more than 10k there. Still looks good even though 2/3rds empty. Should look really good for NRL crowds of 15k and over.

Nope. I think our largest crowd v sharks ever at Suncorp has been 34k. We won’t get huge crowds weekly till ticket prices is better. 27k would probably be higher than average v sharks.

I realise that, although I have a few ales. I think the poor scheduling of Broncos games on Thursdays has killed the crowds for the weekend games. Also very little advertisement of this game in Brisbane.
Even during the Ivan Henjek year, the Broncos were terrible but still pulled mid-30’s on a Saturday night

Yeah I agree. $20 adults would be awesome. Ga bays is level 5 behind the posts, crazy how level 7 behind posts is $40.
