Even with their key outs I'm not sure Souths have a better team on paper. They look pretty overrated to me.

The back 5s are pretty even. I'd take Manly's halves and their 3 big boppers of JakeT, AFB and Taupau over their Souths counterparts. And the edges are pretty even as are the benches.

So Souths advantage on paper is a bit of a myth imo.

Plus Manly have all the momentum where as Souths must be utterly demoralised after being pulverised last week.

Also Des ain't gonna be happy with just the wk 1 win. He'll be gunning for more.

They would've got a lot of confidence beating us.They didn't have to do too much as we didn't show up, so they will be fresh.

Souths were mentally and physically beaten last week, will take a lot to bounce back.

3/4 of Souffs spine is absolute rubbish, Cook can't be expected to carry them again. If you shut down Cook, you shut down Souffs. Whereas the Manly team play as a far more cohesive unit and their forwards won't take any crap from that dribbling baboon Ham Burgers.
