1: Anyone on the field can yell shit. 99% of the calls of "forward!" we hear through the mics are players.

2: The Raiders fans were roaring, seeing the call.

3: The players are conditioned to LOOK for a call regarding six to go. That's why it's an obvious arm wave. They saw that call and played on accordingly. They were then looking at everything but the referees because when you're attacking the line you tend to have better things to do than stare at the bloke with the whistle.

It was absolutely indefensible.
