Whilst I'm not a fan, those saying they've never heard of OneRepublic are f**king full of shit - They WERE huge for a while - I'm all for people saying they're not the right fit for a league GF, and I agree 100%, but to say you have no idea who they are is a complete crock - Unless of course, you lived under a rock for that entire time.

I may have heard their music (haven't gone to Spotify or YouTube to check) but I've never heard the name. Maybe I have been living under a rock.

I love the annual complainfest following the GF entertainment announcement.
I didn't care about Keith Urban or Richie Sambora playing Bon Jovi - because I wasn't there for that.

It's never going to modern or classic enough, it's never going to Aussie or big enough. I do enjoy the 'Who?' comments every year though.

But seriously I have never heard of them. If the NRL is going to put on entertainment for the grand final, at least put on a band most people have heard of.

Doesn’t mean that people will know them.
If you asked me to name one of their songs - I couldn’t.
If you showed me a photo I couldn’t tell you who they are.
I have heard that one song but for all I know it was a tv commercial.
To put that into context
My kid who is 9 has a favourite song,
Immigrant song by led zeppelin .
He definitely didn’t get it off the radio or video hits or whatever.
He got it from avengers end game.

It is easy to not know who these blokes are.
In fact more people wouldn’t know them than people who do.
