A bit surprised this wasn't posted in this thread earlier....regardless of what happens between him and Levi when/if he's back playing, I'm really pleased to hear Slade's progress - he epitomises the sort of commitment and effort you want from any player. That injury would have seen 99.9% hang up their boots for good
Question on whether Slade might retire was raised in this week's team announcement. Shep said he's seen him at training and Slade is 'determined'.

"One of the ligaments in there is a bit loose but we won't know for sure until the results of the scans come back. They were talking a worst case scenario might be four weeks but obviously, I'm hoping I might be back for the next game. We'll see what happens. The bye's come at a good time for me."

devastating news. Watson or Buhrer arent D Levi. The service from dummy half will be slower and less accurate. Hope Danny's a quick healer.

6 to 8 weeks at the best possible time. If we run with best case scenario, he could only miss three games for us and be back in time for the game at home against the warriors:

Bye
Rabbits
Storm
Bye
Broncos
Warriors

8 weeks has him back for the Roosters game
