I have noticed on the Eels official online shop they are offering to heat press the new chest sponsor on to any 2019 merchandise purchased through the shop which has the old chest sponsor. (Which the majority do) . The catch is you have to take your item to the club shop at Parra Leagues. Personally I would wait until new stock with the correct sponsor is available rather than a patch on a new shirt.

There is also a phone number to ring. I guess they will send the patch to you but finding somewhere with a heat press willing to do it is another thing.

If this is the official training gear then one of the existing sponsors must be upgrading to major sponsor, unless there isn't going to be one..?

I think the more likely explanation is that we either don’t have a major sponsor yet or we found one too late to make it onto training gear and the club hasn’t announced it yet. I reckon we just don’t have a major sponsor yet.

I’ve got a copy of the original ISC artwork for some of the training gear and it is dated February 2018 so the 2019 range would’ve been in production probably not long after.

Parra heritage jersey. Same as last year's. Chest sponsor must have changed at the last minute as all of the merchandise still shows Malkoun Associates

I love that the clubs/bodies are really starting to take their branding seriously. Ive been saying for a long time, a club isnt just about the sport, it is about the community it represents.

Channelling this rural, "salt of the earth" look is perfect for the QLDer spirit (even if most people there live in cities, its about how they WANT to see themselves)

Newcastle/Illawarra in the mines and steelworks. Roosters/Souths in Armani suits. Storm in their urban-hipster cafes. Panthers with their bogan bumbags. Every club should have a perfect image of the community they want to represent and every piece of merch/branding should be directed to reenforce this idea that they are leaders of this community.

I agree with your point but I'm not sure about your stereotypes
