True but they need to drop the yellow. In their final years the bears had white but how good did they look in all red (shorts and socks too) before the citibank jersey. That's what I loved about the dragons yesterday. Maybe the dragons could try red shorts and socks with their home jersey occasionally...kinda like the swans.

Why would you want the Pirates to not have some kind of yellow/gold? Even as a trim colour. Black and gold are the sporting colours of Western Australia. It would be like Storm dropping navy blue or Canberra getting rid of the blue and gold trim.

I was merely just replying that they would need to drop the yellow for it to be a red and black jersey. Nothing personal to do with the pirates and wa.

What's with the red stroke on the Sharks numbers?

I thought it looked pink but yeah I wondered what it was about too.

The 2019 Cronulla Sharks jersey was designed by Aunty Deanna Schreiber.

The blue background of the jersey represents the waters of Cronulla, which are surrounded by campsites and elders gathering.

The animal tracks and totems include the goanna, black snake and echidna, which represent the team's players including Wade Graham, Will Kennedy, Andrew Fifita, Braydon Trindall and the family of Jayson Bukuya.

The colour pink represents the many shells that were scattered on the beaches at Cronulla for thousands of years.

Guessing it's to do with that.

I don't understand why the player issues (again) have XXXX logos on the sleeves while the retails don't.

Everything looks good, though. The two tone maroon looks fine even though it's not really necessary and going back to plain shorts is a big improvement.

Maybe since they cant advertise alcohol on kids jerseys its cheaper to use the same template for adults and kids?

seems weird but thats the first thing that came to mind

They revamp arguably the best design ever in Maroons Origin history and then ruin it with that pointless two-tone effect. The top half looked washed-out. Should've stuck with the shade in the bottom half for the entire jersey.

The two tone QLD Jersey is really noticeable on the back. The numbers might mask it on the players. But from the back is strangely stands out so so so much more.

Why wait? (and what's the issue?)

mate it looks like shit, especially
that reverse view. Would
have been better off picking just one shade of maroon for the whole jersey. This would have negated the need for the white stripe on the back to
segregate the 2 shades of maroon.

The number isn’t going to help either imo
