Eels demolish Broncos at Parra-dise
Justin Davies | June 15 2019 9:39PM

Parramatta Eels v Brisbane Broncos

Parramatta Eels bounced back in style with a first-half blitz which set up their 38-10 victory in front of 16,854 fans at Parramatta Stadium tonight.

In 2019, the Eels have been a Jekyl and Hyde team, where they have put on scintilating displays at home but were thumped back at Magic Weekend. Tonight, it was the Electrifying Eels, as they ran in five tries in the first half followed by a pair in the second half to put themselves back in eighth position.

Everything about them makes me angry. Even their obese fan with the cowbell herding her sisters

Not for me. 'The Friday Night Penalty to Brisbane Broncos' will always be the most obnoxious club in the NRL. If the Storm win the comp you don't really hear about it much because they still care more about aerial ping pong down there but if the Broncos win again we'll all be trying to forget about NRL for a few months and erase it from our memories, that's why I was so thankful for the Cowboys in 2015..

I wish that I could find the 10 year penalty statistics that someone posted recently, however, this will do for now.

We are third last for penalties awarded so far this year. Yikes!

And yet we won by 28. Go figure
Yep, I'm eating my words. Brisbane simply did not turn up. Parra are obviously more used to playing at this ground in the wet.

So knowing the conditions as well as the "sweet wet spots" on this ground should bode well for the Eels in the future.

A job well done.
