As predicted the opposition got the rub of the green (Hehe). Didn't decide the game of course but its getting a bit tiresome.

Raiders outplayed Penrith. Much better line speed, was impressed with their defence in the 20. They have a tough run and this game was one they needed.

all supporters ask for is even application of the rule, not have one incident called one thing, and then the same thing get called another way!
One is a strip, one is not. One is a sin bin, one is not.
But then again 'consistency is overrated' says the boss!

You’re right, that call where Penrith were allowed to strip the ball in a 2-on-1 tackle was awful. Thank God it had no bearing on the result.

Btw Crockers Defence has gone to shit along with his goal kicking not in the top 10 centers as of right now..

He was fine. He wasn’t at fault for the To’o try despite what the commentators were saying. Two players on his inside rushed up and took the same man, creating an overlap.

He’s the best young centre in the game today.

This a very good win for us
Congrats Walt. The experience gap was obvious for all to see. The Raiders are a team that has mostly played together for around 5 years.

We on the other hand have players in our side who where either not ready for a game like this, or threw their form out of the window.

The Raiders played magnificently, defended well until the mistakes came, and made a good fist of it. Well done and good luck when you end up in the top 4. Your lot have been patiently waiting for a opportunity like this, so make the most of it.

And I agree with an earlier post in regards to a Manly V Canberra GF. Last one I think was in 1987 when the final GF was played at the SCG.

Cheers, can't say I was ever confident we would hold onto the lead. Panthers should still make the 8 but you guys really need more out of your halfback. Maloney creates everything for the Panthers.
Too true about Cleary although he really is trying his best, it simply is not working for him as far as making those spectacular line breaks.

The refs didn't ruin the game we got beat by a better team and have to deal with it. The Raiders are genuine contenders this year so it's no shame they broke our streak. Our boys should've been better though, they looked directionless.

Thumbs on the ball facing downward in the freeze frame! Definately grounded, no try and rorted again.
He wasn't trying to ground it, he was trying to scoop it dead. All fish and chip wrappers long discarded now though.

This is the level of Pamfers whinge coming out of players, coach n club - on the back of a 7 game winning streak and a game they dominated possession and won the penalty count handily and were spanked 6 tries to 3 :sob::sob::sob:

Imagine if they actually _did_ have anything to cry about :scream:

I know that. Just showing how silly the rule is. Just watch the bunker screw it up before years end and get a thumbs up from the referees boss (Or is thumbs down...?).

Welcome to the world of Rugby League. Still not as embarrassing as Union though.

Yes, being successful is difficult. Panthers fans are still coming to terms with it.
