I mean in a just world you'd have been disbanded. Was quite demoralising. At the time most of us thought we’d be f**ked for at least a decade though!

2010 was the year that galvanised Victorians support of the Storm more then any other single event. They finally became Melbourne's team.
Inadvertently this was a masterstroke by the NRL, Victorians to this day consider there punishment to be overly harsh. The fact that this attitude rustles the jimmies of other NRL fans only makes it better.
Be careful saying that, it's been said before, Dragons fans will tell you more
In 2010 I used to drive over from adelaide for every home game to show my support for my mighty team. even though we didn`t play for points we played for charity."Points for Purpose" and the team and sponsors raised $150,000. Have to be proud of that effort .2010 was the year that galvanised Victorians support of the Storm more then any other single event. They finally became Melbourne's team.

Good. 40-0 was giving me chills for some reason
It was farkin tough but what do you do? There was no other thought in my head but to turn up and show my support every week throughout that season. That’s how I knew Melbourne weren’t going anywhere; the crowds didn’t greatly suffer, the local fans took ownership of the team. Melbourne sports fans are not fair weather supporters, they follow their team through the good and the bad.Very predictable result the broncos aren’t even close to the top teams this year.
Those Storm fans in 2010 who turned up every game have my full respect. I would struggled to watch my team if they had to play for f**k all for an entire season.
Better hope your team never gets caught cheating then....oh, wait.I mean in a just world you'd have been disbanded.
It's not rocket science with Victorians. Any perceived injustice isn't their own fault, it's NSW that's to blame. A Victorian could stub their toe in Hobart on a table made in Perth find a reason to blame Sydney.
Yeah but not many teams have had 3 ATGs.Probably but tbf people have been saying that about them since Inglis left. Then Cronk then Slater.
It's so strange all this obsession Victoria has with NSW. Nobody in NSW talks about Victoria or remotely cares about them but there that's all there is. I've got a book about the Brisbane League pre Broncos and some of those old blokes do nothing but go 'wank wank Sydney never had this what we had' they are in love with Sydney and NSW in general.
I once told of this victorian i went to school with who relentlessly pumped up Melbourne/Geelong to me.
These merkins have turned you into a bitter poet.Be careful saying that, it's been said before, Dragons fans will tell you more
