The Brisbane Broncos have survived a late rally by the Eels to record a 1 point victory thanks to a David Fifita run and field goal by Jamayne Isaako in Golden Point to finish 17-16 winners at Suncorp Stadium.

You're very one eyed, did you ignore the last try? Guy had his elbow planted on the turf short of the line and extends his arm to score, they had the ball as a result of a clear strip attempt gone wrong, we also had a player spend 10 in the bin.

Parramatta had multiple opportunities to win the game and weren't good enough, the ref didn't screw you.

You can put ball straight down he sidnt extend arm TRY.

Eels didnt deserve to win after 60 minutes did enough to get the win after 80 though...

Parra made more linebreaks, scored more tries and ran for an extra 400 metres. The home side were only better on the scoreboard.

Fifita's run was ok I thought. Boyd escorting Gutherson was fifty fifty at worst. There were plenty worse calls than those during the game. And to be fair to the refs they started to give Parra some of those line ball calls at the back end of the game. It all comes out in the wash, though the home side should be getting most of those calls.

Grats Broncos. That defence especially in the 2nd half was outstanding against a desperate Eels side who lost their cool under pressure. I felt sorry for them after the Fergo no try and if they converted their chances, should have won that game. Brown and Moses needed to own that game but I felt their middle let them down a bit at times.
David Fifita, take a bow. That run in extra time will be immortalised in highlight reels. Would have been happy with the draw, but then we wouldn't have been treated to that moment.
Great game given the circumstances for both sides.
