I know what you're saying but it's not as simple as that otherwise penalties in almost every tackle.

My problem with it was the call itself. I see markers worse than that almost every tackle.

i get what you are saying but it just seems like there was no reason to not blow the penalty straight away. Would he have blown it if it wasn't tackled in goal? If they play on from there then the Sharks are at a disadvantage. And if he would have then why wait? None of it makes sense.

But whatever

It hasn't been a terrific performance, but Hess is doing many of the smaller things right today. He is showing a lot in D, particularly kick chase.

I couldn't work out that call. Referees made some strange calls both ways, but the teams were much worse than the referees. Cowboys strung a few sets together at the end of the half and looked better, both teams poor to start the half. Sharks just went from bad to worse in that last 20 minutes.

The conditions are terrible which explains the quality of footy (or lack thereof) but I never quite understood why the Cowboys play like this in these conditions. You would think we would be more used to it than visiting teams.
