Lmao

Marsters needs to hand over the kicking to someone else.

Josh Reynolds' short kicking game last night was as good as I've seen in a dewy game.

I've noticed that examples of Cleary stepping up to the pressure so far in his career are almost always instances of nailing a conversion. Or in the case of Origin it was making a great cover tackle.

He's yet to display even the most remote signs of skill or ball playing which doesn't bode well if he wants to become a superstar and earn that 1m per year contract.

Still, just by having a heart he goes better than Ash Taylor.

It was an ugly win, especially from that forward pass from dummy half leading to Cleary nailing the field goal, nonetheless still a win, but a win I’d care not to repeat. Performances like that in future will leave us challenging other clubs to avoid the spoon rather than make the top eight

Bad luck make.

I was a total neutral but seeing the Panthers pull that out their ass even made me sick. It was almost surreal seeing a team play so badly and still somehow win ..
Teams that make finals regularly seem able to do things like this.

What was Cronk doing at the age of 21?
First grade debut off the bench aged 20 & 5 months vs Sharks at Olympic Park, Melbourne. By the time he was that age, Nathan Cleary had played 44 NRL games, two finals series, been top pointscorer in the NRL in 2017 by a mile, and had never come off the bench.

That attacking structure Ivan has installed for the Panthers has rendered their attack almost useless. Moving Nathan to the left hand side, and Maloney to the right, means his most creative players (i.e. Maloney) is doing more defence tiring him out whilst Nathan is fresher supposedly to attack. It may just be Nathan is more a game managing/organising halfback and not a creative halfback. Until Ivan realises this and reverts Nathan to the right and Maloney to the left, I suspect Penrith's attack will still struggle.
