Don't try to score every play, play to your strengths, keep it simple and don't drop the ball. If the Panthers can do this they'll be on their way.

Getting their halves back last week will make the Titans better. I think they’ll win here and win fairly well. Years ago John Lang said ‘Winning a game by getting out of gaol late doesn’t teach you anything.’ GC by 12.

So if NC does SFA but kicks 5/5 the blues jumper is his?
They don't pick the side for another 2 months or so. However, pick and stick has worked well in the past for winning Origin sides so he looks safe. I might be reading it wrong but Fittler's recent pronouncements that they aren't combining well suggests Jimmy might find himself $90k down this year.

In Penrith's case it just reinforced what they already knew,ie - not to give up and the importance of a good kicker.

Penrith have the worst dummy halves in the NRL which leads to terrible go forward.

This is why the cannot score points.

I feel for Cleary and Maloney. They start behind all the other halves with hookers who engage markers and are a threat.

Penrith forwards and halves will keep getting smashed by multiple defenders.

Titans seem poorly coached.

Game of also rans making up the numbers.

Titans 12 Penrith 10 (1 try 3 goals)

They're not great but the club could have signed Segeyaro for a pittance yet hasn't done so. Maybe they know something you don't.

The completion rate has quite a bit to do with it as well. You can't blame the dummy halves for that.

Yeah I can, there shyte passes. They do not engage marker your forwards have 4 blokes smashing them every time. This produces drop ball.

Everything wrong with your attack stems from terrible dummy half service.

Anyways live in denial, it is all good.

I pretty much agree with you. I really don't rate Katoa and Egan hasn't impressed much either. We were playing much better when we had Peter Wallace playing there. Even though he's a half I don't know why we don't give Jarome Luai more of a chance either, at least he might spark something.

I'd agree that our halves aren't the biggest problem, it's the hookers but also not a lot of thrust from the fullback. Then you have players like Mansour who are no where near as good as they were a couple of years ago before they got injured and you have a team that gets rated high because people are expecting certain individuals to perform how they did a couple of years ago, but the current form of those players is ordinary.

We still might have enough to beat the Titans but I don't see us as a threat in the comp this year with these hookers.

Titans were atrocious last week. Hard to tip them even if at home. However the betting market indicates this will be close.
