This sort of thing happens every year.

Coincidently when the refs decided to change how they were refereeing last year. All of a sudden the best wrestlers in the comp returned to the top 8.

Got to be the Martin 'bobble head' Lang cup for mine.

This Year?

You'd have to think that the Panthers will come good at some stage, but if memory serves me well the Sharks are one of their bogey teams.

Sharks by 6 in a grinding type game.

no ex panthers in the shark squad tonight to have a blinder.... panthers to continue the mediocre performances - Sharks 18-8 in a shocker

Not sure why everyone is matthew wright'ing off the sharks in this one.
I really think Cronulla will be that team this year (and perhaps Canberra) to surprise a few people.

Sharks were pretty hungry against Easts and showed a great attitude. People forget their squad has been pretty injured to start the season, and with the Kiwi half still finding his feet. They've still showed glimpses of what can happen when they put it together like the second 40 against Cows the other week.
Much respect for Cronulla. I definitely didn't see their potential for one before the start of the year. I think when Moylan comes back and SJ really settles in his new role, I think they'll stay hovering around the top of the ladder.

Both SJ and Moylan are both players that can fire but don't thrive so much with ALL the responsibility on their shoulders, so it'll be interesting to see how much better they get playing in their comfort zone - when they can read the game yet know the balance of the squad - especially if Brailey can become more Cook like in his dummy half role.

Anyway, why am I so supportive of Cronulla? F**k me I used to hate this mob with a passion....probably too many beers already... happy easter everyone!

No one really enjoys seeing the Sharks win. Even Sharks fans.

Unfortunately I think they will get up tonight.
