Yeah but rl is a bit full of shit with the way they are reporting the crowds this weekend aye wookster.

Dont like it personally, but Im far from an island on this. Ill do what I did last year and do the calcs based on whatever the NRL do and what was done historically with double headers and such. No big deal.

It’s no big deal indeed. Don’t go to the crowd thread is my advice.

Yeah but rl is a bit full of shit with the way they are reporting the crowds this weekend aye wookster.

IMO The total crowds going through the turnstiles for the 4 days divided by 8.If the Total is 128,000 average is 16,000 given to each of the 8 home teams that gave up their home game.It may inflate some clubs ,but it is at least a reflection of the actual numbers.
Bearing in mind only one game on Thursday night 17,000.
Some people may attend 3 days, but they are still part of the crowd and pay for each of those three days.
IOW 128,0000 people attend ,128,000 people added to running crowd figures.

No doubling up and inflating crap that the NRL H/O is prone to done. They should be called out on it.It makes the code a laughing stock.

Jeez some strong ratings
184k knights v dogs
291k warriors v dragons
332k storm v eels for a smash up

Meanwhile 3 combined afl games did 356k LOLOLOL
Those ratings are massive. So much better than last week. That’s 800000 for three games.

The afl got 800000 for 5 games on fox. They also got around 570000 on fta. Averages about the same per game but it does show the dominance of rugby league on fox.

If you turn your TV off, but leave your Foxtel set top box on then does that not distort viewing numbers? Some people I know do this.

Afls been a lot smarter with it’s scheduling this year.
agree. they seem to have much more in the way of spend/footprint across all FTA as well. back end of the season post origin with saturday night games on 9 should help a lot, hopefully.
