I thought Sivo played well even though he dropped a couple. He'll learn a lot from today's game. Once he opens his account he'll get the confidence to go to the next level.

Encouraging signs. Paulo played really well. Hope I'm completely wrong about the big fella. Lane very good. I'm impressed with Taka. Good captaincy and improved play from Gutherson. two very good games in a row from Moses. Gower and Mannah very good. And, of course, the young Brown.
And I've got to give a special mention to Kane Evans. Best game I've seen him play (is he nearly fit?). I like the way Evans and Lane were continually running through in support.

Agreed, he was good and I think he will get better. The forwards are in a great comp between themselves as all contenders become available. As far as scapegoats performing Taka had craka as well.

Yes! We’ve been missing that for so long. Mannah especially. Having guys who can pass at the line is only effective if other guys are willing to put in a non-stat run. Means point of contact is only 1 or 2 defenders, not 3 or 4. Offloads, post contact metres and quick play the balls come from there

I think the refs going back to not blowing penalties has helped us again. We have been in the ruck battle in the first two games

I was quite impressed by the energy Hoffman showed in limited time at centre. Lane was always going to be useful close to the tryline, but he has been better in general play that I thought he would be this early in the season.

Moses has been ordinary this game.

He was but we were playing to Brown's side this week. Moses had 28 touches that didn't end in kicks. Brown had 38.

I have to agree, and I never imagined that Ferguson could ever be a leader. Hard to fathom how the chooks let him go for the sort of money we supposedly paid.

D Brown played the perfect half game. When we were starved of possession and finally got some ball down their end, he put im two kicks for us to maintain possession. Turned the game.

We've had a decent team for years. They just badly underperformed last year.
