Queensland should be ashamed of themselves, that is one of the worst performances I've seen by a team in the Origin area for a while. They just didn't want it, NSW wanted it way more! Queensland looked flat and just went through the motions while NSW played typical Origin football. Disgraceful at that level really. A scoreline like that should never happen in Origin.

Still, great performance by NSW, congrats to them. Off to a decider we go!! That's exciting!

I really enjoyed Optus Stadium too, looked great on TV the way it was lit up for Origin.

Queensland played like the team they are. On paper they just don’t have the players to compete and I expected NSW to run over them in that fashion for all three games.
What’s amazing is that they managed toGet that first game because they really did out play the blues with a load of nobodies.

Qld were a national embarrassment, reflecting their place in Australia generally.

I’d rather New Zealand was a state of Australia than qld.

Given the nice things about Tonga and Samoa, especially their people, I think we could invite them to become states as well with the equal footing as nsw and so forth.

It would set origin alight for sure.

Now looking forward to the decider, teams get announced tomorrow!!

Cleary a chance for Origin III - Alexander: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/06/29/cleary-a-chance-for-origin-iii-alexander/

Klemmer using pain-killers in pursuit of Origin return: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/06/30/klemmer-using-pain-killers-in-pursuit-of-origin-return/

Ponga out of Origin decider with calf injury: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/06/30/ponga-out-of-origin-decider-with-calf-injury/

No Ponga is a HUGE blow for Queensland, I'd probably even rule out Queensland winning now to be honest.

Norman, Welch to debut for Maroons in Origin decider: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/07/01/norman-welch-to-debut-for-maroons-in-origin-decider/

Dane Gagai selected for Maroons in Game III: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2019/07/01/dane-gagai-selected-for-maroons-in-game-iii/

I quite like those changes from Queensland. Of course, Ponga is a huge blow and there is no replacing him but I think Norman is certainly the next best option. He's been really good for the Dragons this year, has been in previous Maroons squads and I can't wait to see him play to be honest. Then there's Welch's debut which is well deserved and he should've been there in Game 1 really. Ofahengaue is a welcome addition for them too. I'm happy Wallace and Napa have been dropped.

Also congrats to our man Gagai for once again making it!

Walters gets emotional trying to get Maroons through Choppy waters: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/07/01...-trying-to-get-maroons-through-choppy-waters/

Klemmer's Origin omission hard to fathom: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/07/01/klemmers-origin-omission-hard-to-fathom/

NSW Origin 3 team - Klemmer overlooked, Blues unchanged: https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/07/01/nsw-origin-3-team-klemmer-overlooked-blues-unchanged/

Murray and Cookie back in the Blues fold: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2019/07/01/murray-and-cookie-back-in-the-blues-fold/

Congrats to Cookie and Murray for being selected once again!

Queensland legend Corey Parker blows up over David Klemmer’s omission from NSW Origin III team: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/st...m/news-story/5bc02a9f7c0fbf8fceaa4ee8b71daacd

Genuinely can't believe that NSW have overlooked one of their best. I get that Freddy wants to stay loyal to the team that got the job done in Game 2 but how can you deny Klemmer? Honestly.

Gillett being ruled out is a huge blow for Queensland but massive congrats to our very own Ethan Lowe for getting the call up to make his Origin debut. Stoked for him!

Anyone having a punt?
I'm backing our Cam Murray for last try. Was at $41 in game 2.
Qld at $3+ is very tasty in a two horse race.

He didn't cross the stripe for me but i thought Cam Murray put in a fantastic stint when he came off the bench. Gave his everything on the field.
Lowe was fantastic, especially considering the late call up and Cook was at his usual standard.
What a fantastic finish though. Every NSW supporter would've had a sinking feeling of deja vu when McGuire crossed to equalised so late in the piece and i feel that made the winner even sweeter!

Murray was outstanding. What a player. Brilliant. One can only wonder how long he would have had to wait for a start at this level if Freddy wasnt coaching.

Cook did all he could considering the differences between the defensive patterns of the teams. Awesome individual try.

Gagai... good luck with that Benny. 750K for a winger??? Can't carry that.
