Aitken doesn't miss many because he is grasping at air. Try causes are far more useful
Spot on.
A missed tackle isn’t being in no mans land.
Aitken would be one of the best in the NRL at that stat, and the opposition worked this out ages ago not to mention he won’t pass in attack either.

A missed tackle means actually getting your hands on the attacker but couldn’t effect the tackle.

But McFade would say Euan’s got one of the best stats for missed tackles so them muppets on the forum have no idea.

Mary had no JDB so he is excused. If he does not have his full complement of players he has every reason to come 2nd last. Not that any other team in the NRL has a player missing throughout the season. All were full strength.....lol

By the way I did not know Saints were a 1 man team, I thought they had a good roster but apparently they don't, they only have 1 good player and the rest were reserve grade.Or so the club will be made to believe. Mary hoping the board don't watch Origin or any rep games....
Our CEO said (when recommending Mary's extension) that Mary is the best possible person to see the team through the De Belin problem.

They're just full of it.

The peanut has broken just about every record in the clubs history at the rear end!! The biggest record achieved is by our Board for giving the flog 7 years in charge to be the longest serving coach in the JV history.
The club will be history with this supposed career coach being propped up by his Illawarra mafia mates. He certainly has deservedly been described as a "career coach"....which more likely translates to : he's ended players careers!
The career coach could have another more damning meaning .
Career also means to travel quickly and out of control and usually to some kind of disaster .
So career coach = McMediocrity even though he doesn't fulfil the coach part

Wouldn't it be better to be rid of the coach that oversaw it and to bring in someone detached from the situation and controversy?

Well on thread topic 2019 stats

Aiken is one your better players.

Sort by any category and he standouts as one your best.

Hey look for yourself here is missed tackles Aitken 10th for Saints 160th in the league.

Vaughan has let no one down, he does too.

The million dollar QLDer does not look good no matter how you sort.

I mean him and Lafai are a big reason why we are in the position we are...

Yes some stats can be misleading.
Tackle breaks is another one, some players stats looked good but they are just from running across field pushing players off.

Johnston's endorsement of McGregor at the time he was extended is still ringing in my ears.
Since then we have hardly won a game.
Well done Johnston - towing the Illawarra line can be a pride swallowing existence, can't it??
Be a man, take an objective view of this disaster and get rid of McGregor.

Johnstons silence has been deafening.
The club needs a responsible CEO who can communicate with the fans and the media.

In truth, Johnston has failed to complete his job responsibilities equally as much as McGregor.

Bruce Gordon, the buck stops with you.

I don't care if he is 10 or 17th in missed tackles for the Dragons but he is 1st for the Saints & the league in Bad Defensive Reads causing tries conceived ..........

Lets not forget - only a few weeks ago Johnston said on radio that McGregor’s coaching performance this year was “about a pass mark”.
Second last, SECOND LAST - at St.George Illawarra that’s apparently a pass mark. While the club now applies censorship to banners at their home ground critical of the coach. It’s f#cking criminal.
Johnston has proven to be nothing more than a Board lackey trying to defend the indefensible.
