That Junior Kangaroos side is insane. Feel sorry for France. Some of those guys could do a job in the proper Kangaroos side.

Even if France came with a full side they'd still probably go down by 40+, with the second string side they've brought this could be 60-70+.

Make you wonder why they didn't look at playing one of the Islands if they came all this way.

Australia v Aus U23s would make a better spectacle. That U23s side is pretty shit hot. Like
@mxlegend99 said some wouldn't look out of place in the top Aussie squad.

It’s good to see the GOAT Bradley Parker getting some representative recognition.

He’d tear up the top tier NZ side let alone the French side.

Aussie centres on notice from this point on.

France are really taking the piss here with the side they've brought over. No wonder their captain quit.

They've got 2 of their 24 World Cup '17 players. Would be a decent game against Aus-U23s with a full team but this is gonna be a bloodbath which serves no purpose.

People are severely overrating this u23s side tbh

It's great for a youth side but it would struggle against Tonga and Fiji and would be a close game if France bothered to bring a 1st string team over.

1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. Campbell Graham 3. Brian Kelly 4. Zac Lomax 5. Reuben Garrick 6. Kalyn Ponga 7. Brodie Croft 8. Corey Horsburgh 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Thomas Flegler 11. David Fifita 12. Angus Crichton 13. Victor Radley
Interchange: 14. AJ Brimson 15. Nat Butcher 16. Emre Guler 17. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui
Reserves: 18. Gehamat Shibasaki

Only Ponga, Fifita, Crichton are established rep stars.
Radley, Papenhuyzen and Brimson may be in the next 2 years.
The rest will mostly be solid career first graders. Some have only played a handful of top flight games.

I disagree people are overrating them except for the bloke above suggesting they could maybe beat NZ.

Papenhuyzen, Campbell Graham, Garrick and Brimson all played in the 9's and won. I understand the 9's is much different but you could argue 1 or 2 out of those 4 alone will make either Origin or the national team at some point.

Ponga, Fifita, Crichton and Radley in my opinion will definitely make the Australian team at some point in their careers. The rest have a lot of potential which is why they've obviously made this team.

Not the strongest Australian side I’ve ever seen. Interested to see who plays right centre. I assume it will be Wighton.

If it wasnt against the french you wouldnt be trying to downplay them

No this French team is hot garbage. Aus23 will win by 200.

I would put them on par with several NRL teams

About that. Don't get me wrong it's a good team. But thankfully we're getting away from the days where simply being able to name 17 blokes who have played a game of first grade is enough to be a top 5 test team.
They wouldn't beat NZ or England, Tonga or Fiji imo. Samoa/PNG/France(full strength not this rubbish) might be their level.
