Just noticed on the WNRL Instagram page that the referees are using Struddies as the jersey manufacturer instead of Fi-ta. Might be a change for the men next season?

Didn’t somebody say that Fi-ta had gone out of business?

The NRL refs are in Struddys too as far as I know. The Indigenous round refs shirts were definitely Struddys.

It just seems like all Storm away jerseys are just after thoughts.

We've had some shockers... This one from Reebok felt the laziest.

For me, outside of the 2016 away and the original 'gold' alternate, we've had a few other promising jerseys which I wouldn't mind seeing being used.

This Canterbury away wasn't perfect, but at least it looked like a Storm team:

The Hobart Trial kit is one I wished we used in the regular season:

And then there was this training kit which was based on the 2016 away, which just cause I prefer Gold over White, felt could have been a solid alternate for the club.

Gold and purple as an away jersey would be unique AF.

Something like what was posted above I know around 2002 they had a predominately yellow away jersey. Their white jersey is so bland

I think the 2015 striped away jersey was underrated.

The away jersey isn’t a terrible design, it just never sat well with me. Melbourne aren’t a hoops team.

I like that home jersey too
Nothing wrong with a bit of simplicity if done right

They only kept that for one season if I recall correctly, Storm have had more jersey designs than the Gold coast

Common misconception is that purple is their primary colour - it's always been navy, predominantly because it's the state colour. I doubt they'll ever abandon it.

The purple is unique in the comp though and they should definitely make better use of it

They pretty much abandonded the gold without much fuss....

Obvously they need a secondary group of colours to give the jumper detail and Navey/Silver is perfect for that. But Purple should definitely be the dominant and most used colour

with a lot of backlash from a farely vocal group of members in the "yellow camp"

its now worked its way back in, with silver a bit on the backburner after going heavy on it the last few years

(how this played out isnt as obvious on the jerseys but is easy to see in the other branding, communications, members items etc)

The Storm may not have room for any more embroidery. I'm pretty sure that Can Smith had embroidery on his stomach opposite the black isc/nrl patch for his 400th game.

That photo was taken on Monday so probably too soon for embroidery. The embroidery will likely be opposite the jock tag.

I wish they would go back to the GF shield. Stitching just looks tacky, and with commemorative jerseys for players in milestone games it isn't particularly special either.
