He COULD play. Since 2018 he has only played 17 games, not many of them good ones. Let a shit club like the Dogs sign him. Him and Foran can be injured together forever.
Hasn't he got a chronic arthritis condition? Its possible he could become a decent contributor, but I wouldn't take the risk.

Buzz saying that Manly were fantastic and the Eels “were only missing Matterson”.

apparently Moses, Fergo, Evans, Kaufusi & Stone don’t classify as first grade players to Buzz...

I thought I must have misheard him when he said that. I went back and listened again and sure enough there he was telling us that we only had one player out, Matterson.
The senile old fool has no idea. Thing is there will be people who listen to him and believe everything he says. Sucks to be them.

The worst part is that not one of the panel corrected him. 3 "journalists" on that panel and the other 2 not named Buzz didn't chime in.........ultimately the teams were both equally depleted and one team played their guts out and the other didn't really get off the bus and the team that played their guts out won by 4 points........not sure I'd call that gutsy, just lucky that the other team didn't turn up......

The coach said it best, no one was willing to put in the hard work and expected someone else to do it. You could argue that he set that tone by resting 2 players OR maybe it was a ploy to see how the team responded, this week will tell us a lot about the team imo.

Not Jack Bird

But we do need some plans in place soonish for a quality winger and centre.

Jenko won’t be around much longer, and not sure if Fergo will be around beyond this year.

As well as a regular no14 superstar , who can come on and either replace one of the halves if required OR give Reed a breather for 15 min

Not sure if he fits the bill for us, but heard Albert Kelly looking to come back to Oz from super league. Has matured a lot and still has speed. Is only 29. Or has his name been rubber stamped at the Eels?

Looks like the Eels are the underdogs. The 360 merkins are having a wank over the Tigers because they beat Brisbane.

They are really talking up Tigers great form and how they have turned everything around.

They have defeated 5 sides in the bottom 8, while losing losing every game against top 8 sides. They also lost to the titans...

Its very rare the Eels get love from the media...
It's like they get satisfaction seeing us lose or go through some controversy..we are massive click bait for the gutter journos

Probably been rubber stamped at a few clubs...wasn't he the player who spat in David Fairleigh's face?

Hey, they’ve been In great form. Last four rounds they’ve beaten the Bulldogs juggernaut, had a close loss to Penrith (that’s pretty much a win), were beaten by Souths then they thrashed the highly fancied Broncos. They are on fire!

Flanagan punted him from the Sharks, Knights punted hi. For smashing a light in a nightclub, then he was banned after being a part of the Sharks doping program while he was playing for the Titans.

Two years ago he was disciplined for verbally abusing a chick at McDonalds. He sounds like a right see you enn tea.

Yeah I heard that too. What gets me with the media is how, after the loss to Manly, we are suddenly not a genuine threat for the premiership.

I don't see that said about the Roosters. They get a pass because of their huge injury toll!

Manly and Canberra are tremendous fighters for winning one game, yet we have only lost two all season but have major issues.

Remind me League media when the Roosters or Storm were perfect all year?

It is the way we lost, sure we started a comeback of sorts, but it is very hard to ignore the absolute crap that was on display early on in that game. You don't see that type of frailty from the Storm of the Rooster and besides they have proven time and again they can get the job done come the business end of the season.

All we have proven so far is that we have gritted of some great wins, with the help of the men in the middle and blown away some very ordinary teams. Woo Hoo!

We need to show metal toughness when it counts otherwise we will always be pretenders.

To be fair though, all the media, like a choirs of lemmings of course, have been singing the line that "they need a big scalp". So they will all be death riding us again tonight, guaranteed.

They’re incapable of independent thought or critical thinking. There are few rugby league analysts who can put their biases aside and offer anything of value.

If I had a buck fort every time a media pundit states something that sounds remotely half intelligent whether right or wrong, that then is repeated by every other f**ker on every other show or interview as if it was their thought, I'd be as rich as Donald Trump.

When they start of by say "well I think..." you know they haven't had an original thought in years and are about to spew out the bleeding obvious to everyone again as if it is a unique idea/thought from only them or they are simply just regurgitating what has been doing the rounds in the media all week.

Love them or hate them but on TV at least, Ennis, Alexander, Cronk, Sterlo, Gould, Fitler Slater and both Johns are about the only ones that really give any insight and original perspectives on the game. I may have forgotten one or two, but they are about it.

Do most of these guys have agendas and biases? Of course they do, but after you watch them long enough, you can annoyingly filter out the noise and only take on the quality of their analysis IF it is there.

The problem is most of the time their bias is so painful that I'm yelling at the TV to much to actually hear their crap in the first place.

In 2018 the Chooks were down 20-8 at halftime vs the Broncos, in round 24, in Sydney. Nearly full strength too. And unlike us on the weekend there was no second half comeback: http://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/seasons/nrl-2018/round-24/sydney-vs-brisbane/summary.html

f**k James Hooper is clueless. Raving about Cam Smith's 40/20 the other night and saying how it was phenomenal for a left footer from where he was... No idiot, if it was a right footer on that side of the field with that angle, then that would have been far more impressive. Smith kicked it and bounced the way you'd expect a left foot kick to bounce with a bit of hook on it...
