Melbourne to play at home when the fumblers aren't playing, rounds 1, 2 & 25.

Cowboys away for the first month to beat the heat and cyclones

The Cowboys may need this draw if something happens to delay the new stadium. (Construction wise, it's looking OK, but logistics etc can always be a problem)

2019 draw was released October 25 last year and the linked article says the NRL are aiming for the same timing this year so may well drop this week.

In the mean time what are you hoping to see in the draw?

I want the GF replay to be hosted by Canberra in the first 5 rounds, that would be one of the more Ferocious crowds.

If Cummins isn't refereeing that match, the NRL don't know marketing.

- Storm home games first two rounds
-Cowboys/Broncos Tville game on a Friday or Saturday.
- Three Good Friday games, including one in Qld.
- Thursday/Friday6pm Sydney games, to be held at smaller stadiums.
- home games in the bush should be played during the half bye rounds.

ANZAC day is a Saturday so 4 games?

It would be the perfect opportunity to give the warriors a chance to host.

Games in Sydney, Auckland, Brisbane and Canberra?

Storm v Warriors has been an ANZAC tradition for a while now, and generally Melbourne's highest attended match every year, it would be silly to change that tradition.

A bit late to the party, but is the Perth nines a confirmed event that the 16 NRL clubs will be participating in? And why are Cronulla moving their games to Kograh? Will they ever return to Shark Park?

Friday in Perth catering for an eastern Timezone tv audience.
What could go wrong?
3 hour time difference and they want people turning up at 3pm??

Who benefits from new competitions created after a TV deal is signed, other than the tv companies?
I’m sure the NRL gets no extra money for the 9’s WC last weekend or the new 9’s competition starting in 2020
