After watching the Roosters/Raiders game (which as a spectacle I enjoyed), it seems a lot of players were limping or carrying various injuries by the end. I expect a close game for the first half but Storm to have the fitness to outlast the Raiders. Storm 30-18.

was that the first game of league you've watched? Every game has players limping at the end of the match

Munster playing on a dodgy knee would be a bigger concern than some regular bumps and bruises after a game
He plays on a dodgy knee every game, all it takes is a little knock

Hopefully we get Finucane back aswell, and a centre besides Lee (i think momorovski is still injured though, and seem reluctant to use leutele)

I think us and the storm are both fairly evenly matched. I dont think either is appreciably better than the other, unlike the other game where the Panthers are clearly superior. This game will simply come down to who executes and plays better on the night, and perhaps who the footy gods wish to smile on when it comes to injuries and the bounce of the ball
Yep this is where I'm at. Flip the coin and pray.

@StormFred does have an observed point here. There will be a number of Raiders players who will be at least carrying a few aches & pains against a relatively fresh Storm outfit.

Certainly a valid point for Pamfers fans to cling to. After a rest in Round 20, some of the Raiders team have played as many as two whole games in a row without a break now & must surely be feeling the effects of this shortened season.

The only reason I lean toward Storm is they almost always get the rub of the green especially in big games. It isn't enough for Raiders to be slightly better. Smith will scheme a win.

You sure about that? We've probably lost more grand finals than anyone else the last two decades, and Raiders seem to be our kryptonite in close games (they even wear green)

3 of the last 4.

Canberra played awfully the time they played in CBR this year but Melbourne had a gift try from a CNK error in goal and an arsey one from a poxy line dropout where Paps ran down the sideline. Elliot Whitehead also bombed a try.

Now I’m not one to criticise referees, but Grant Atkins was an absolute disgrace in that game. I don’t think I’ve ever been angrier.

I’m not saying I think he tried to get the Storm over the line, but if he wanted to, he wouldn’t have had to do anything different.

I’ve never seen Grant Atkins put in a solid refereeing performance.

That is only one player for the Storm who can be needled up and managed, which makes the Storm virtually 95% fresh compared to the Raiders.

They seem to- but Raiders are a slight bogey team for Storm. Over the last couple of years we've beaten them even with 2 players in the bin. So good as Storm are, and certainly capable of beating us, I also always feel that we can rattle the Storm and always a chance of getting over them.

Look, panthers fans have written us off so therefore we shouldn't even bother showing up in Queensland
