I sort of agree but not about lacking heart. He gets through a ton of work but doesn’t destroy defensive lines like you’d expect. He’s probably being misused being made to play 80 minutes or a bit less. He should be used for impact.

The lack of heart is in reference to his Origin form. I'd have stamped his papers and put them in the file beside Ben Creaghs.

It really goes to show just how bad the Broncos are going that Souths can put together a performance like this and lead 20-6. The soft calls don't help but there's just an overall lack of intensity in their play and absolutely no attention to detail.

Souths have hardly broken a sweat. They've kicked well to put Brisbane under more pressure, but they didn't have to work hard for any of their points.

As damaging as Hass is with the ball he comes up with such piss poor lazy efforts in defence. It’s why I’m not completely sold on picking him for origin.

Agreed. Actually, this is an awful Souths side in general. A nothing roster with quite a few overrated flops like Gagai, Latrell and Walker. A dud/no name forward pack, an ageing and seemingly past it Damien Cook (same goes for the old myth of a coach), a tampon for a halfback...and Cameron Murray, the only quality player in the entire roster.

Not popular opinion but Payne Haas lacks ticker. No mongrel about him and can be a lazy defender. Last years Orgin antics with him laughing and joking with his QLD mates while his team was losing shows he has a lot to learn about attitude and toughness.

Nowhere near as sold on him as everyone else seems to be.

he is the new Gallen. Massive workload and stats but doesn’t influence his team chances of winning or losing
