After the record breaking win, I'm not sure the Panthers will have the required energy for this one.

Sharks (more so the Panthers ex-players) tend to play out of their skins against us so I can see a big upset coming.

The time you are actually confident and expect a win...Will be when we actually lose

We might be due for a loss and we might not be. The team couldn't be too happy with their last couple of second halves where they failed to score a try. That should motivate them to lift and improve on those efforts. We smashed the Sharks a few weeks ago so we'll see how much they've improved since then.

He looks like scoring every time they give the ball to him in space.

The kid is dynamite.
He has more tries in 100 minutes than Josh Mansour has in the 32 games he has played between 2019 and 2020.

Its going to be impossible to sustain the strike rate Staines has. But with his pace and athletic ability he will always have a decent strike rate. Just hope we can get him to string together a few games.

Penrith should be too good.... although as stated above they are due for a loss at some point.

Smug v Denial Cup.

Sharks in denial?

We know we haven’t beaten a current top 8 team.

But we’ve only been flogged once by one.

The other three games against the Storm and Parramatta we’ve lost by 2 points and were unlucky not to win both. The game against Souths we lost by 4 points and Josh Morris dropped the ball with the line wide open in the closing minutes of the game.

We aren’t actually that far off in games against top 8 opposition thus far.

If that’s denial so be it.

Only a moron could think that the incident was anything other than an accident.

wouldn't expect a panthers fan to believe one of their choir boys could ever do anything wrong.

I find it funny that Luai has always spoken about how strong his faith is etc and is seen praying on the field at the end of games. I assume it's to pray for forgiveness for his sins on the field because there isn't many more players that are so eager to jump into a potential brawl on the field or take any opportunity to sneak in a cheap shot.

Penrith will probably lose and then come out firing for next week.

They’ve somehow missed the injury plague that everyone else seems to have gotten so are probably due one or two
